AbdulrahmanAssi

Full-stack software engineer

I turn ambiguous requirements into reliable software, polished interfaces, and production-ready systems.

Welcome

Abdulrahman receives a feature request from Mike, thinks through it, adds and verifies a report export, returns to the conversation, and waits while Mike reviews it. Jordan then reports missing failed-payment data; Abdulrahman investigates, repairs and verifies the summary, returns to Jordan, and receives approval.

About me

Abdulrahman Assi

Full-stack engineer with 3+ years of professional experience designing and shipping production systems. I’m strongest at turning large, ambiguous requirements into clear architecture, safe backend workflows, and polished interfaces—then owning the work through delivery.

Experience & impact

From first full-stack handoff to building products and owning production systems.

A short timeline of how my scope grew from shipping a complete product to owning critical systems and leading the technical side of an active startup.

  1. Active venture

    Tools & integrations

    • WhatsApp Cloud API
    • OpenAI Responses + Audio
    • RAG-style grounding
    • Supabase Edge
    • PostgreSQL + Drizzle
    • Netlify
    • Hono

    Technical Co-founder

    Rizmi

Co-founding Rizmi and leading the technical side of an Arabic-first personal-finance product, from product and risk decisions through architecture, delivery, evaluation, and launch readiness.

    • Turned an early concept into a working private MVP with a WhatsApp customer journey and a partner operations portal.
    • Own technical strategy and delivery across the product, including roadmap tradeoffs, platform boundaries, quality gates, infrastructure, and deployment.
    • Established safety and privacy constraints for an AI-assisted financial workflow before production launch.

    Software Engineer

    Vult Media

Co-architecting and shipping correctness-critical workflows across a large 3PL platform. I own complex modules end to end—from product modeling and APIs to interfaces, database behavior, and integration testing.

    • Co-designed backend conventions and shared contracts that continue to guide the platform.
    • Owned a 23K+ line workflow spanning order approval, warehouse verification, billing, and UI.
    • Built reusable factories, seeders, and orchestrators that enabled 30+ integration suites.

    Internship capstone

    Masaaq web implementation

Built a separate web implementation for a Palestinian student-resource platform, covering the React frontend and Express/Firebase backend through deployment and handoff.

    • Implemented authentication, content flows, localization, caching, and infinite-scroll pagination.
    • Designed Arabic and English direction switching plus accessibility-oriented preferences.
    • Completed my first end-to-end product delivery and formal handoff.
